Terms and Conditions Alpha Mobile App
1. Definitions and Interpretations:
1.1. Alpha Mobile App refers to an application for a smartphone that can be downloaded by you from the
following application stores App Store or Google Play.
1.2. ATM refers to automatic teller machine which is a self-service banking that allows can withdraw money,
check balance, or even transfer fund.
1.3. Account Holder(s) refers to the person in whose name an account is operated and who is responsible for
all transactions on the account.
1.4. Account Number refers to a unique serial number attached to each Account opened with the Bank and
it is confidential between the customer and the Bank.
1.5. Biometric identification refers to the authentication of the user by using fingerprint, facial data to unlock
their mobile device and access to the specify functions to process transactions of Alpha Mobile.
1.6. Cash by Code refers to card-less cash withdrawal service at Alpha ATM using code generated in Alpha
Mobile App.
1.7. OTP One Time Password (OTP) refers to 6-digit code generated by Alpha Bank and sends to Account
Holder’s mobile phone via SMS, which must be used to authorize to first register Alpha Bank App.
1.8. Document ID refers to the identification documents (National identification Card or Passport) which
register to open account at the Bank.
1.9. Mini-Statement refers to a consolidated banking statement that reflects Alpha Bank’s record for a
specific period for a customer’s account on Alpha mobile App. The Mini statement is for informational
purposes only.
1.10. Notifications refers to SMS and in-App push-notifications sent to you on different occasions related to
banking transactions or general alerts sent by Alpha Bank.
1.11. Payment refers to a payment order initiated by you through Alpha Mobile App to make a debit of your
eligible Account for any payments; for example, EDC, school fee, insurance.. to make a payment to
vendors.
1.12. Mobile PIN refers to the unique four (4) digit numbers used to log in to Alpha Bank Mobile App and to
authorize any Transaction.
1.13. ATM PIN refers to (4) digit numbers used to log in to Alpha ATM to access on the functions of the ATM
services and to authorize any Transaction.
1.14. Services refers to the services in respect of any Bank Account or any other similar forms of Bank accounts
to be provided by us.
1.15.Customer refers to Alpha Bank account holder and non-Alpha Bank account holder, who acquires one-off
service of Alpha Bank. All customers are subject to different forms of due diligence.
1.16.Transaction refers to any financial record or operation made or performed processed, or effected by your
or any person purporting to be you, or any person purportedly acting on your behalf, with or without your
consent, including: any payment or fund transfer to/from your Account; any other banking transaction that
may be made available through Alpha Bank from time to time (including making bill payments); and any
banking transaction carried out through any Alpha branch.
1.17. Transaction History refers to the list of all the transactions entered or performed within Alpha account
within a specific period.

2. Introduction:
The Terms and Conditions Alpha Mobile App shall govern the user of Alpha Bank Application services by
users/subscribers as service provided by Alpha Commercial Bank Plc. It is very important for you to read this term
and conditions carefully. By registering for and using you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions.
By pressing confirmed “Accept” mean user confirm that you are acting on your behalf and that you have read,
understood, acknowledged, and given your consent to the specific T&C Alpha App.
The Bank has privileges to reject or cancel customer registration for Alpha Bank App at its sole discretion.
3. Service Available
you can access to Alpha Mobile App service by using the User ID, PIN, Face-ID, and Fingerprint issued to you by
Alpha Bank App following registration.

4. Transaction Limit and Fees
4.1 You can perform financial transactions whenever your account has sufficient balance within the transaction
limit set by Alpha Bank.
4.2 You agree to pay for all applicable fees related to the use of and/or any transactions performed via Alpha
Mobile App and agree to Alpha to settle the fee by debiting directly from your account without any notice.
4.3 You can find information on fees and/or limit per transaction and per day for each type of transactions on
Alpha Bank official website and/or Alpha branches and/or Alpha Mobile App an/or call to our contact center
via (855) 023 886 688.
4.4 Alpha Bank reserves the right to change the maximum daily limit of transaction amount without any prior
notice. For more details on transaction limits, please see Appendix-B.
5. Block and Unblock Alpha Mobile App
5.1. You can request to block Alpha Mobile App by contacting to Call Center or visiting any nearest Alpha bank’s
branch.
5.2. To unblock your Alpha Mobile App, you are required to submit your written request at any nearest Alpha
Bank’s branch.
6. Termination of Alpha Mobile App
You are able to terminate your Alpha Mobile App by submitting your written request at any nearest Alpha Bank’s
branch.
7. Customer security obligations
7.1 You must take all reasonable precautions to keep safe and prevent fraudulent use of your mobile device,
Personal Identification Number or any other security information. These precautions include:
never writing down or otherwise recording your Personal Identification Number in a way that can be
understood by someone.
not choosing a Personal Identification Number that may be easy to guess.
taking care to ensure that no one hears or sees your Personal Identification Number when you us it.
keeping your Personal Identification Number unique to the Mobile Banking App.
not disclosing your Personal Identification Number to anyone, including the police and us.

changing your Personal Identification Number immediately and telling us as soon as possible in
accordance with clause 4.3 if you know, or even suspect, that someone else knows your security
details, or if we ask you to.
keeping your Personal Identification Number and mobile device safe.
complying with all reasonable instructions we issue regarding keeping your Personal Identification
Number safe.
once you have logged onto the Mobile Banking App do not leave your mobile device unattended or
let anyone else use your mobile device.
logging out of the Mobile Banking App once you have finished using the Mobile Banking App services,
and not leaving the Mobile Banking App running in the background whilst logged in (e.g., whilst multi-
tasking, or running other apps).
follow all security measures provided to you by the manufacturer of your mobile device operating
system that apply to your use of the Mobile Banking App or your mobile device (although you should
never disclose your security details to them or information about your accounts with us).
undertake reasonable and adequate precautions to scan for mobile phone. if you activate Biometric
Authentication method you must ensure that only your fingerprints are registered on the device.
You shall be responsible for unauthorized payments made from your accounts if you have not kept your
mobile device and your security details safe, or if yours is not the only fingerprint registered on the device and
you have activated fingerprint logon.
7.2 You must not use the Alpha Mobile App on any device or operating system that has been modified outside
the mobile device or operating system vendor supported or warranted configurations. This includes devices
that have been “jail-broken” or “rooted”. A jail broken or rooted device is a device that has been freed from
the limitations imposed on it by your mobile service provider and the phone manufacturer without their
approval.
7.3. After initial registration we will never contact you (or ask anyone to do so on our behalf) with a request to
disclose your log in details. If you receive any such request from anyone (even if they are using our name and
logo and appear to be genuine) then it is likely to be fraudulent and you must not supply your log in details to
them in any circumstances. Additionally, you should report any such requests to us immediately.
7.4. You will be responsible for all instructions given by you or anyone acting with your authority between when
you log onto the Alpha Mobile App until you log off the Alpha Mobile App.
7.5. You are responsible for making sure information shown or stored on your mobile phone is kept secure.
7.6. You must advise us of any change to your mobile phone number without delay. What to do if there is a breach
of security.
7.7. If you know or suspect that someone else knows your log in details, or has used or tried to use them, or if
your mobile device is lost or stolen you must tell us without delay by calling us on 023 886 688. We may ask
you to co-operate with us and the police into the actual or suspected misuse of your security details, the Alpha
Mobile App, or your Account(s).
Unauthorized transactions
Please refer to the Product Terms for details about unauthorized transactions. You will be responsible for all
losses arising from unauthorized transactions on your Account as a result of:
- You are acting fraudulently, or
- You intentionally or with gross negligence failing to use the Mobile Banking App in accordance with the
App Terms (including keeping safe your Mobile Banking security details), or
- You intentionally or with gross negligence fail to notify us in accordance with clause 7.7 if you know or
suspect someone else knows your Mobile Banking security details or has used or tried to use your security

details.
8.Privacy
In accordance with Cambodia’s regulatory requirements and Alpha’s internal policies you provide your express
consent and agree that:
8.1 As part of satisfying Alpha's KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements, Alpha Mobile may collect Personal
Information from you; you provide warrantee and assurance that Personal Information disposed by
you through Alpha Mobile are true, complete, and up-to-date. Further, you acknowledge and agree
that failure to provide up-to-date Personal Information required by Alpha Mobile will result in certain
inconveniences and restrictions of access to Alpha Mobile’s features.
8.2 Personal Information collected as part of your identity can be held by Alpha for the purpose of enabling you
to use the services provided by Alpha Bank;
8.3 Alpha Bank can collect any information on your usage behavior for the purpose of security enhancements and
user experience improvements.
8.4 Alpha Bank may require that location tracking be enabled on your mobile device so that some specific features
in Alpha Mobile can work.
9. Customer’s Liability
9.1 You need to check the fees and detailed payment information carefully before confirming the payment in
Alpha Mobile. Any incorrect information, account number, limit excess or deficiency shall be your own
responsibility.
9.2 You will be responsible for all losses arising from unauthorized transactions on your Account as a result of:
You are acting fraudulently, or
You intentionally or with gross negligence failing to use the Alpha Mobile App in accordance with the App
Terms (including keeping safe your Mobile Banking security details), or
You intentionally or with gross negligence fail to notify us in accordance with clause …. if you know or
suspect someone else knows your Mobile Banking security details or has used or tried to use your security
details.
9.3 You allow Alpha Bank to settle the payment unconditionally in case of any complaint/claim to be responsible
for the losses or any expenditures that Alpha is responsible to as the result of any improper transactions of
payment services via Alpha Mobile due to your violation over the terms and conditions of the services
including but not limited to failure of any prevention or without permission or fake transaction.
9.4 You must ensure the security of keeping your mobile phone and other confidential information for accessing
such as passwords and personal information, etc.
9.5 You have to abide by all Terms and Conditions on using of Alpha Mobile Service.
10. Bank’s Liability
10.1 The Bank has the rights to review and verify its Client background and to request further information from
customer if needed. The approval of using this service shall be at Alpha’s right.
10.2 The Bank will implement the transaction instruction via Alpha Mobile, but Alpha Bank will not be responsible
in case you enter incorrect information or account number or surplus or deficiency balance etc.
10.3 The Bank has rights to cooperate with local authorities to investigate, freeze or stop your Alpha Mobile
Service abided to the applicable law/regulation or court order.
10.4 The Bank will keep your information confidential except with your consent, requirement by law or court
order to disclose such confidential information.

10.5 The Bank has right to suspend transactions when there are problems and necessity.
10.6 The Bank may charge a fee for use of any service on the Alpha Mobile/ ATM. Such fee shall be at such rate
and for such period and payable in such manner as the Bank may announce from time to time by notice
displayed in the banking hall of the Bank or such of its branches as the Bank determines as well in the Bank
website. The Customer authorizes the Bank to debit such fee and other fees, charges and costs payable under
these Terms and Conditions from any Account.
11. Amendments
We, at sole discretion, change Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
12. Inconsistency
12.1. If there is any inconsistently between these Terms & Conditions and any your account Terms & Conditions,
these Terms & Conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency, unless otherwise provide for in these Terms
& Conditions.
12.2. In the event of any inconsistency between the Khmer language and other language of this document, the
Khmer version shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
Alpha Bank reserves the rights to change without any prior notice.
13. Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Financing Terrorism
According to the Cambodia Law on Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, Alpha can
postpone or reject any transaction for the Account Holders if we believe that:

Cambodian or International Law.

14. Law and Dispute Resolutions
14.1. These terms and conditions are governed under the Cambodian Law.
14.2. In case of any disputes, both parties have to solve them peacefully. If the disputes cannot be resolved
peacefully or outside the court, they have to be solved within the court along with the Cambodian Law.
14.3. Other issues which not stated in the provisions have to be implemented under the law of Cambodia.
15. Disputes with other parties
We take no responsibility to you for:
Where you decide you no longer want the goods or services. You must be resolved with the retailer. We are
also not responsible for any complaint with respect to the goods and services of a retailer supplies to the user
if correct charging occurred.
16. Indemnity
Customer unconditionally agree to indemnify the Bank against all claims demands actions, liabilities, damages,
costs and expenses of whatever nature which the Bank may incur in connection with any loan of whatever type
and to pay the Bank all sums which may be claimed from the Bank or which the Bank may pay or become liable to
pay in connection with customer’s loan account(s).
17. Privilege
The Bank has privileges to revise these terms and conditions without prior notice.

User will be able to see the promotional and offers relating to Bank services and products during the time.
Send Cash to ATM
User can send money to any Alpha ATM in either USD or KHR currency and withdraw it without a card.
Cash deposit in Machine
User can deposit cash at any ATM of Alpha Bank by input their ATM PIN to confirm and process transaction
by input the account number and specify deposit amount.
QR Code
User can make a quick fund transfer by scanning QR Code from Alpha Mobile App to own account and other
account at Alpha Bank without input receiver information it will auto generate the receiver’s information
automatically.

Favorite
User can save favorite transaction as a template for performing the transaction without input information of
transactions again except amount transfer.
Loan
User can quickly fill in required information requesting for estimating their needs through our various loan
products.
Service
User can access see bank products and services details in Alpha Website.
Main Menu
Schedule Transfer: users can automate their future or regular payments and transfers to a particular vendor
or person using templates in Alpha Mobile App.
Exchange Rate: This section shows the exchange rates for all popular currencies in Cambodia. This also
includes the currency calculator that can help user to check rates for any amount instantly.
Locator: User can access to interactive map where can be found locations of all Alpha Bank Branches and
ATMs.
Contact Us: User able to contact Alpha Bank’s call center via available integrated, Facebook messages, line, or
call-in to our hotline number 023 886 688.
FAQ: User can view frequency asked questions and answer of bank customer.
Terms & Conditions: Explain your responsibilities and obligations relating to your use of the internet banking
services.
Settings: User can view and manage other settings in the application such as My profile, Language,
Confidential Mode, Login with Fingerprint, Pay & Transfer with Fingerprint, Change Mobile PIN, Change Secret
word, Set Transfer limit with security words, Login with security word, Logout after 30 seconds.
